1. Guardian required by school
School makes parents aware that all students under 18 years old need to have a qualified guardian until they turn 18
2. Determine if parents or approved relative will be in Australia
Will the student's parents or an approved relative be living with the student while they are in Australia?
If Yes, no further action needed from school. The parents or relative can confirm welfare arrangement directly with the Department of Home Affairs.
If No, then student/parents/agent can contact Study Vision to see if we have a partnership with the student’s school. If we do, the student can apply to Study Vision.
3. Invoice sent
Study Vision issues an invoice for the student's application fees, homestay rental and guardianship fees to parents
4. Payment is made
Parents make payment to Study Vision
5. Receipt issued
Study Vision issues a receipt to the parents, and instructs the school to issue the documents needed for the student to apply for their visa
6. Visa application
Student applies for their student visa
7. Visa received
Once the student has received their visa, they notify Study Vision of their confirmed flight details
8. Student's booking with Study Vision is confirmed
Study Vision finalises the student's guardian and homestay accommodation and forwards all details to their school
9. Student Agreement issued
Study Vision issues a student agreement to the student including the homestay profile and airport pickup confirmation
10. Student Agreement is signed
Student and parents sign the Student Agreement and return it to Study Vision
11. Airport pickup confirmed
Study Vision finalises the student’s accommodation and airport pickup arrangements.
12. Student Arrives
The student arrives, and is welcomed into their new home with a Study Vision Homestay. The student contacts Study Vision as soon as they arrive at their homestay.
13. Ongoing Support
Study vision provides full support and rental management of the student’s stay in their Study Vision homestay.
